No matter where I’ve been in my career, I’ve always been a writer.
In the sales division of a department store chain I wrote copy to sell pots and pans, shoes and jewelry, and more. Exciting? Maybe not, but it was loads of fun. It set me on a path filled with artists, designers, marketing strategists, and production managers.
From there, I morphed into PR and advertising. As an account executive, a senior vice president, and eventually, a business owner. With a few rogue roles in between.
But no matter the role, I’ve always been a writer. Brochures, scripts, speeches, articles, award entries, RFP responses, editorials, magazines, blog posts, case statements, and website content. If you can imagine it, I’ve probably written it.
Today, my specialty is philanthropy support.
Yes. I can write about bras and shoes, aging in place, and why dogs are the key to life.
But for now, let’s concentrate on you. And why your work matters.
